How do I change my password or deactivate my trivago account?
I need help changing my password
If you signed up for your account directly on trivago, you can change your password by logging in and going to Account settings > Change your password.
To change your password from the app, log in and tap on Profile > Change password.
If this option is not available, you will have to reset your password.
To reset your password, make sure you are logged out and go to the sign-in page. Enter your email address, click “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps.
Be aware that if you signed up via a social login (e.g. Facebook or Google) you will not be able to change your password. Instead, you will have to reset it.
I want to deactivate my account
To deactivate your account, you can either
- Open your browser and log in to your trivago account. Go to Account settings > Delete my account.
- Or send us a message. In your message, please include your full name and email address connected to your trivago account.
Please keep in mind, once deleted, trivago will no longer have access to any personal account data. To read more on our privacy policies, you can follow this link here.

How do I unsubscribe from newsletters?
You can unsubscribe from our newsletters anytime by pressing the “unsubscribe” button at the very bottom of the email.
