Your inbox is still empty and you haven’t received the booking confirmation? Before contacting the booking site directly, here are some helpful hints from us:
- Search your email with keywords relating to your planned trip, the booking confirmation may have gone to your spam folder.
- Found it? Keep that booking number handy! While you’re at it, we also suggest saving your hotel contact information. Being extra organised for your trip can go a long way.
Still need to contact the booking site, but can’t remember who you booked with? If you were too distracted by the amazing deal you secured, we don’t blame you! To find out which booking site you used, here are some useful tips:
- Try checking your browser history for the day you booked. The name of the booking site should be right after ‘trivago’ in your history.
- If the booking site has already processed the payment, their name may appear next to the outgoing payment on your credit card, PayPal, or bank statement.
Why doesn't trivago have my booking confirmation? Good question. As trivago is a price comparison website, we are not involved in the booking process, we just find your ideal hotel for the best price. We don’t keep records of transactions made through the booking sites, so unfortunately cannot access your booking. Luckily, the booking site can help you with this.
