How do I change my password or deactivate my trivago account?

Resetting your password 

You can easily and securely reset your password with few steps:
  1. Follow this link and submit your email address
  2. After you’ve sent in your request, check your inbox (and spam folder) to see our email with a link to reset your password.

Changing the email linked to your trivago account

It is not possible to replace the email address linked to your trivago account. What you can do instead is deactivate your current account and then create a new account with the email address that you want to use.

Deactivating your account 

To deactivate your account, you can send us a message. In your message, please include your full name and email address connected to your trivago account.
Please keep in mind, once deleted, trivago will no longer have access to any personal account data. To read more on our privacy policies, you can follow this link.
