  • How can I cancel or make changes to my booking?
    To cancel or make changes to your booking, please contact the booking site directly. They are responsible for the booking and payment process, so will be in the best position to help you. As a metasearch, trivago is not directly involved in the booking or payment process. Your booking confirmation will include their contact details and your cancellation policy.

  • Who do I contact about a refund or an invoicing inquiry?
    If you would like to inquire about a refund or anything to do with your invoice, please contact the booking site directly. They are responsible for the booking and payment process, so will be in the best position to help you. As a metasearch, trivago is not directly involved in the booking or payment process.   • Where is my booking confirmation?

    If it’s been more than 72 hours please contact the booking site directly.  Please bear in mind that your booking confirmation may not be sent to you automatically. 


    Can’t remember who you booked with? If you were logged in to your trivago account at the time of booking, you can easily review your search under the “Recently viewed” tab.  

    If you weren’t logged in to your trivago account or haven’t set one up yet, here are some useful tips that might help...

    Search your email for keywords relating to your planned trip; the booking confirmation may have gone to your spam folder.


    If the booking site has taken payment already, their name will appear next to the outgoing payment. 

     

    Try checking your internet browser history for the day you booked, the name of the booking site should appear right after “trivago” in your browser history.




    Try recreating your original search on trivago (i.e. same destination, dates, and accommodation) and check if any of the booking site’s names look familiar.

    It can sometimes take a few days for the booking site to communicate your reservation details to the property. If your reservation still isn’t showing up after this time or your stay is scheduled sooner than that, the booking site will be able to assist you.
